Well, you’ve come to the right place. Since we love playing games at baby showers, we’ve decided to compile a collection of fun game ideas that will make any shower even more exciting and memorable for the guests and the parents to be!
The Game: This week’s game is Baby Charades
How it Works: Baby Charades is a popular game to play at any baby shower. Prior to the big day, you’ll need to write down 20 (or more) words related to babies, pregnancy or parenthood; write each word on a small piece of paper, then fold the paper up and put all of the pieces into a bowl or a hat. On the day of the shower, divide the guests up into two teams. The first player will draw a slip of paper from the bowl, and without speaking; they will act out or pantomime the word. The player acting out the word will have a limited amount of time (use a timer) to get their team to guess the word they’re acting out. Keep score of which team guesses the most correctly – and that team is the winner!
We love Baby Charades because it generates a lot of laughter, and the preparation is very minimal for the host.
