Baby Showers are a special time for expectant parents to gather together with friends and family to celebrate the soon-coming arrival of a delightful new bundle of joy. If you’re looking for a fun game to play at an upcoming shower, we’ve got lots of suggestions; how about Never Say Baby?
The Game: One game we love is Never Say Baby. This game is fun because it is on-going, and someone wins a prize at the end.
How it Works: When guests arrive, you’ll give them each a fun baby sticker (a pin or a necklace would work, too). Once everyone receives a sticker let them know the rules of the game: you are simply NOT allowed to say “baby” all day – it’s harder than you think being at a baby shower! When someone catches another person slipping up and saying “baby” on accident, they can take their sticker from them. At the end of the day whoever has collected the most stickers wins a fun prize. Some ideas for fun prizes include: $5 to a local coffee shop, a small manicure set, a pretty journal, etc.
We love this game because it doesn’t take a ton of effort, planning or coordination; the rules are simple; and it certainly keeps everyone on their toes.
