Baby showers are a fun time for friends and family to come together and celebrate the soon-to-follow arrival of a precious baby. Often times, hosts will plan games for guests to join-in at the shower. So, if you are, or know someone who is planning a baby shower, you’ll want to read our series on fun baby shower games that are sure to spice up any party.
The Game: Don’t Let Your Water Break
How it Works: Don’t Let Your Water Break is a fun and exciting game that is sure to generate lots of laughter and smiles. To play the game you’ll need a water balloon for every guest and a large outdoor space. Divide the guests into smaller teams of four and tell them to place the water balloon in between their knees. When you say “go” the first person on each team will run across the lawn or park (feel free to add in obstacles as you see fit) with their water balloon in between their legs. They’ll need to deposit their balloon into a bucket – without touching it with their hands, and without it breaking. Once the first person has completed the course the next team member will go, and so on and so forth until one team has finished. Remember if you “break your water” you’ll be disqualified! If you end up with more than one team completing the race we suggest an easy tie breaker: a water balloon toss!
