The Book: Mercer Mayer has done it again with Happy Father’s Day a book in the Little Critter series. This special story discusses Father’s Day – or Daddy’s Day as we at DaddyScrubs like to call it.
In the book, Little Critter and Little Sister concoct a plan to surprise Dad and Grandpa – giving them a magnificent and special Daddy’s Day. Together, the two make cards, cook breakfast and put on a magic show.
It’s a great book that’s sure to generate smiles and laughter – while reminding us all how important the daddies in our lives truly are.
The Author and Illustrator: Mercer Mayer acts as both author and illustrator of the Little Critter series. He has been writing and illustrating books since 1966. Many of the over 300 books he has written have been inspired by his own childhood experiences; he also writes about experiences he has now, with his children.
If you visit the Little Critter Worldwide Network online, you can color pictures, sing along to songs, play games and more. It’s a fun place to go after you’ve read the stories. Your little one will want to read the Little Critter books over and over again.
