Celebrity Dads

The DaddyScrubs team had a blast at the Pre-Golden Globes Gifting Suite. We met lots of wonderful celebrity parents including Esai Morales.

Morales is a well-known actor who’s played roles in La Bamba, American Family, Resurrection Blvd., Caprica and more. You may recognize him as Lt. Tony Rodriguez on NYPD Blue, a popular role for Morales.

A true New Yorker, Morales was born in Brooklyn and attended the School of Performing Arts in Manhattan. His mom influenced him greatly as an organizer for the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union while growing up. Morales helped in founding the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts and the Earth Communications Office.

When Morales isn’t busy acting or working on growing his foundation, he is boyfriend to Elvimar Silva and dad to Mariana Oiveira.

We certainly enjoyed meeting Morales at the Boom Boom Room, and we are looking forward to seeing what comes next for his lovely family.
