It’s fashionable, it’s exclusive and Daddy Nickell attended in 2013. The Boom Boom Room preceding the Golden Globe Awards was packed to the brim with companies featuring the trendiest and most inventive gear on the market for growing families, including DaddyScrubs Comfort Wear – the perfect gifts for new dads! Many celebrities walked the “red carpet” of the gifting room picking up loot for new parents and babies too! Join us as we highlight a celebrity meet and greet on Daddy Nickell’s Blog each week!

Daddy Nickell and the team had a great time at the Golden Globes Gifting Suite rubbing elbows with Hollywood stars and telling everyone about DaddyScrubs!

One of the fabulous celebrities in attendance was Essence Atkins. Atkins is well known for her role in Half and Half where she played Dee Dee Thorne. She’s also acted in the popular show Smart Guy and is currently starring in Are We There Yet?. This starlet’s career began with the classics; she played roles in television series like: Sister Sister, How High, Deliver Us from Eva, Family Matters and The Cosby Show.

Atkins is married to Jamie Mendez, and the happy couple are parents to a beautiful baby boy named Varro Blair; Varro was born on December 25, 2011.

We were thrilled by the opportunity to discuss our products with Atkins and Mendez who shared with us how much they love DaddyScrubs.
