A country classic with beautiful, sincere lyrics about being a dad, “Love Without End, Amen” by George Strait is one of our very favorite Daddy Songs.

The Song: “Love Without End, Amen” was written by Aaron Barker, recorded by George Strait and released in April of 1990. The popular song remained Number One on Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks.

The Artist: George Strait is an icon in the world of country music. Many critics call him a living legend and many refer to him as “The King of Country.”

Strait became a daddy himself in 1973 when he and his wife, Norma had a daughter; however, Jenifer tragically died at 13 years old in an automobile accident.  In 1981, Norma and George welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world, George Strait Jr. In memory of their daughter, the family set up the Jenifer Strait Foundation, and continue to donate money to children’s charities in San Antonio.

Recently, in early February of this year, Strait became a grandpa to a beautiful baby boy also named George Strait.

“Love Without End, Amen” is a wonderful song sung by a wonderful daddy. We wish he and his beautiful family all the best.
