Amongst the many celebrity moms and dads at the Pre-Emmy Gifting Suite, Sarah Drew made an appearance at the DaddyScrubs booth to grab some DaddyGear for her husband.
Drew is best known for her role in Everwood where she played Hannah Rogers; however, she is quite popular in her current role as Dr. April Kepner on Grey’s Anatomy as well.
Growing up in New York allowed this starlet to shine in school plays and community theater groups like Take One Theatre Arts and Summerstock. In 2002, Drew graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Drama. She is married to Peter Lanfer, a professor of Second Temple Judaism at UCLA and Dartmouth, and the happy couple is expecting their first child together in January of 2012.
Lesser known of Drew is that she voice acted in the television series, Daria playing the character Stacy Rowe. A lover of the stage, she made her professional stage debut in 2001 as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and in 2003, she debuted on Broadway in the show Vincent in Brixton.
We can’t wait to see what comes next for Drew. In the meantime, we are excited to meet the newest addition in January.
