The DaddyScrubs’ team had the pleasure of meeting celebrity mommy, Nancy O’Dell at Jayneoni Moore’s Pre-Golden Globe Gifting Suite, and O’Dell was thrilled to take some “I’m the Daddy” gear home for her husband, Keith Zubchevich.
O’Dell is a television host and entertainment journalist. She has been working as co-anchor on Entertainment Tonight since January of 2011.
Prior to her career in television, O’Dell attended Clemson University where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in marketing. She won the Miss South Carolina pageant in 1987 and continued on to represent Miss America in 1988.
Her television career began as she worked as a reporter at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach. She later moved to Charleston where she anchored at WCBD-TV and was honored by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award for her fantastic journalism. She worked various other news reporting jobs before landing a lead anchor position at Access Hollywood in 1996.
In more recent years, O’Dell has co-hosted Miss USA and Miss Universe competitions as well as made appearance on television shows such as: Charmed, Scream 2, Scream 3, Scream 4and Nashville Star.
O’Dell has two step-sons, Tyler and Carson as well as a daughter born in 2007. While pregnant with her daughter, O’Dell experienced a few shocking changes, and ultimately wrote the book Full of Life. She is currently acts as National ALS Ambassador to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
We loved meeting Nancy at the Pre-Golden Globes Gifting Suite, and we hope her husband enjoyed his special gift from DaddyScrubs – the perfect gift for dads!
