With two glowing children, busy celebrity mommy Ming-Na made time to pose for pictures at the fabulous Pre-Emmy Gifting Suite.
We were delighted to meet the stunning Macanese-born American actress. Many recognize Ming-Na for playing the voice of Mulan-Fa in Mulan along with the Kingdom Hearts video game series.
She played the role of Dr. Jing-Mei “Deb” Chen on NBC’s ER and has starred in numerous other television series including As the World Turns, Vanished, The Batman, Inconceivable and Stargate Universe.
From the television screen to the big screen, Ming-Na has acted in the films The Joy Luck Club and Street Fighter.
Many don’t know that her very first job was at her family’s restaurant in downtown Pittsburg; her family still owns and runs the restaurant today. Ming-Na attended college at Carnegie Mellon University where she received a degree in drama.
She married Eric Michael Zee in 1995, and the happy couple has two beautiful children, a daughter named Michaela and a son named Cooper Dominic. This lovely family currently resides in California.
