Grey’s Anatomy star, Sarah Drew celebrated her soon-to-be growing family with a baby shower on November 6th in Los Angeles.
DaddyScrubs was delighted to have a part in hosting this stunning celeb shower where guests such as Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson and Shonda Rimes were in attendance. The shower had a charming black, white and purple color scheme along with vintage silhouettes.
Love was certainly in the air as family and friends came out to support Drew and husband, Peter Lanfer. According to People.com, Drew commented, “I was surrounded by all of my favorite women and was just so cared for all day. I felt so grateful to have such an amazing community of friends and family. It was so special to have my mom fly out from N.Y.C. for the shower, and I had the wonderful surprise of my aunt and cousins flying in from San Francisco as well.”
We, of course, made sure Lanfer was a proud new owner of a pair of his very set of DaddyScrubs. Drew said, “He’s so excited to wear them when our little one makes his/her appearance,” according to her interview with People.com.
Drew and Lanfer are donating products and extra gifts from their shower to Baby2Baby, an organization that supplies Los Angeles families in need with baby gear and clothing. In Drew’s interview with People.com, she said, “Peter and I have been so incredibly blessed with the resources to prepare for our little one, but there are so many new moms out there who do not have those resources. Baby2Baby provides for these women, and since I’ve been given so much, I really wanted to give back. I’m so excited to be supporting this amazing organization.”
