Book: Hogan Hilling’s Rattled: What He’s Thinking While You’re Pregnant is a must-read for all expectant mommies. While mom is carrying the little tyke for nine months, it’s clear a lot of things are happening to and changing for her – but what about daddy? Hilling’s book reveals just that – the inner-workings of your husband’s mind while you’re pregnant.
Often overlooked in expectant parent literature is the empathy that comes with understanding what your husband is experiencing – both mentally and physically – while you’re pregnant. While the truths Hilling discusses are not always easy to swallow, they certainly ring true in the relationships of many couples – expectant or not.
Rattled is a quick and easy read that is both thought provoking and encouraging. Hilling wants mommies to remember to find balance on the journey to mommyhood while still finding time to grow their relationship with their husband. It will remind you of the importance of working together as a team – all the way through pregnancy and beyond.

Hilling has appeared on ABC’s “Oprah,” “The Story of Fathers and Sons” documentary, as well as NBC’s “Unsung Hero” and “The Other Half.” He has also made numerous radio appearances discussing parenting and more.
We certainly enjoyed meeting Hilling, and we loved his book so much – we decided to giveaway a signed copy to one lucky winner!

I know it’s not that crazy, but my husband and I kept forgetting all sorts of things! Putting the milk in the cupboard and the keys in the fridge – that was us!!
When I was pregnant with our first child, I craved Krispy Kream Donuts and lived an hour away from the closest one. My husband and I drove an hour and bought a dozen for me and a dozen for my pregnant friend. I was in heaven. When I was pregnant with my second child I was driving from Miami to Orlando and I waited to long to use the rest room. There were know restrooms in sight and know exits close by. My daughter was asleep and I had know choice, but too pee myself. LOL.
