A Club for Parents
If you live in Palo Alto or Menlo Park this club is for you – the PAMP Club! PAMP was formed when a group of parents came together to create a “volunteer-led, non-profit organization to offer community, resources, knowledge, and support on common interests,” explains the website.
They have actually become the largest parent organization on the Peninsula spanning across San Francisco Bay Area and South Bay. When the organization began in 1991 there was only a small group of moms; however, throughout the years PAMP has grown to 3,000 members.
Their mission, according to the website, “is to enrich the lives of families with young children, both within [their] club and [their] community. PAMP offers an array of services and programs to [their] members thanks to the dedication and hard work of [their] volunteer Board of Directors and Leadership Team.”
Overall, PAMP is run by a Leadership Team consisting of sixty volunteer members who work together to “coordinate programs and serve on the Board of Directors.”Visit their website today to read articles on parenting, connect with other parents or join PAMP for yourself! (http://pampclub.org/site/)
