New daddy Manuel C. recently welcomed a beautiful baby into the world! And for the arrival of his child, Manuel proudly wore a pair of Navy Blue Edgy DaddyScrubs.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Manuel, and asking with him about being a brand new daddy! Here’s what he had to say:
Q: What was your first thought upon holding your brand new bundle of joy?
A: Too many thoughts, because the baby was taken to NICU. He was hooked to too many things (monitors, IV, feeding tube)… the baby looked more like a computer than a baby. It took me a day to hold him without any fears, but once I held him, there was no letting go! Mommy had to take a turn! Thankfully, he is doing great!
Q: What advice do you have for other new and expectant parents?
A: Try to be at the delivery; it is an amazing, breathtaking moment. And be sure to wear DaddyScrubs; they are a comfortable, easy [to] wear outfit that avoids any confusions as to who the daddy is!
Q: How did you feel wearing your DaddyScrubs at the hospital?
A: We got so many different reactions, but everyone had something to say! We heard everything from “Do you work here?” to someone asking for help to [people] asking if we had delivered at home, and where did we get them from. Mainly they were very impressed with the quality and how they resembled doctor’s scrubs.
Q: What was the reaction you received from people at the hospital when you wore your DaddyScrubs?
A: Happy and comfortable! My wife packed the scrubs with her hospital bag, and as soon as she was all prepped, I changed and stayed in my scrubs overnight. They are really comfortable, even to take a nap in (as seen in the picture!).
