New daddy Brian J. recently welcomed a beautiful baby into the world! And for the arrival of his child, Brian proudly wore an “I’m the Daddy” hat and tee by DaddyScrubs.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Brian, and asking with him about being a brand new daddy! Here’s what he had to say:
Q: What was your first thought upon holding your brand new bundle of joy?
A: It was really an “out-of-body” experience. Our midwife let me deliver our baby boy once his head was all the way out. I gently pulled him out and placed him on my wife’s chest. We both stared at him, joyfully crying, and I thought “wow, this is what life’s all about.”
Q: What advice do you have for other new and expectant parents?
A: It’s such an amazing experience that you can only truly appreciate once you’ve been through it. Live in the moment as it’s going be the best day of your life. Also, be prepared by taking the classes and reading the books. You’ll be a better support person for your partner if you do.
Q: What was the reaction you received from people at the hospital when you wore your “I’m the Daddy” Comfort Wear hat and tee?
A: Everyone loved the hat and t-shirt. I did wear the scrubs pants which were very comfortable during that long day!
Q: How did you feel wearing your “I’m the Daddy” Comfort Wear hat and tee at the hospital?
A: I loved it, I was a proud new father and wanted everyone to know.
