In October 2011, Daddy Nickell appeared on Oklahoma 52 “All About You” to discuss a few great baby products with pregnant host, Kealey McIntire. One of those must-have products was the Cuddlecloth. Since then, Daddy Nickell proudly fathered another daughter, Tessa, born December 9th, and the wonderful company very generously sent Tessa a Cuddlecloth of her own!
Mr. and Mrs. Daddy Nickell were honored to receive such a nice gift, and they can’t wait to try it out with Baby Tesssa!
For those of you who don’t know about Cuddlecloth, it’s a patented, easy-release bath towel bib that was designed to ensure your baby’s safety during bath time. Easy-to-follow instructions are provided on the packaging complete with demonstrative photos to show new parents how to use this unique product. The instructions are as follows:
- Parent should put the Cuddlecloth on before bathing baby.
- Allow extra fabric to gather at the hooded end of the Cuddlecloth.
- Insert the long collar tab into the top opening, and pull the tab.
- Bathe your baby while staying dry and soap free!
- Pick up baby safely with both hands and pull fabric from the top of the hood to cover your baby.
- Cuddlecloth will automatically release off your neck, and you will have a towel to dry baby.
As most great ideas come about, this product was invented by a mother in search of a product that would allow her to bathe her child safely, so that she wasn’t balancing a slippery baby while reaching for a towel. She quickly began creating prototypes for testing. With excitement buzzing, this magnificent mommy created the Cuddlecloth; a towel that worked with no Velcro, snaps or ties, so babies could be bathed safely.
Since the creation of the Cuddlecloth, Pampered Bathing has gone on to create other products as well, including the Cuddlepet, which is similar to the Cuddlecloth in it’s functioning; it will keep you dry while bathing your small pet, and when you are finished you can pick up your pet and bring it to your chest to dry. The towel will release from you and can be wrapped around your pet. You won’t have to worry about puddles of water and slippery floors any longer!
