The Story of the Scrubs
Once upon a time there was handsome father of four who remarried in the year 2007 in the magical land of Hawaii. Soon after the glorious wedding had ended, this handsome daddy and his beautiful wife found out they were expecting a child. Thrilled and excited, they began making preparations for the new addition to their family.
All of a sudden this vetern daddy turned expectant daddy realized times had changed since he fathered his first four children nearly twenty years ago. After taking birthing classes in the Bay Area, he discovered he was going to be personally helping with every extraordinary step within the birthing process. His role had changed from waiting room daddy to bedside daddy. And with that, he quickly took matters into his own hands as his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit soared, trying to figure out how to make delivery room day special and comfortable for himself – the daddy-to-be!
Upon the third day he had decided; special scrubs would be made for the daddy. No longer would the expectant daddy have to wear uncomfortable street clothes during such a trying yet special time. No longer would there be any confusion as to who the daddy is. No longer would daddies dressed in borrowed hospital scrubs be mistaken for the doctor. And so, this smart daddy designed a set of scrubs with the emblazoned “I’m the Daddy” on the back, and “Daddy” on the front! This father of four, with one on the way known today as “Mr. Daddy” proudly wore the very first set of DaddyScrubs into the delivery room, and the rest, as they say, is history. Oh – and they all lived happily ever after!
And now the rest story. Mr. Daddy took it upon himself to fill the need in the market for the new and expectant daddy. Daddies were seemingly under-recognized in their intricate part of the birthing process. Mr. Daddy wanted every dad to be able to proudly wear a set of DaddyScrubs while tending bedside to their laboring wife. And so, Mr. Daddy gave “birth” to this unique business idea and launched DaddyScrubs.com – so that no daddy would be left behind.
